Strong Island Field Hockey Spring 2023 REACT Series – Learn skills while you react and respond in game-like situations.

Join us for this 6-session outdoor series where players will develop the physical skills to play effectively with a team in a larger space.  Our experienced coaches will introduce you to more complex team concepts in all areas of the game.

REACT SERIES U14/U16/U19:

-Experience all types of game play

-Newfound confidence on and off field

-Technical skills into game context

-Spatial, tactical, decision-making elements

-3D skills

-Elimination skills in game situation

The cost is $275 per participant for this 6-session practice series.

Tournament Opportunities (additional cost):

We are looking to participate in 2 tournaments this spring season.  One will be at a college campus, and the 2nd one will be a college showcase.  To cut the cost of tryouts, we are asking that you please reply and let us know if you can commit to one of the tournaments or both.  Once we know the interest level, we will be able to form teams and send out registration information. We need your response by close of business on Thursday 3/30.

2023 Little Scoops Clinic

For kids under 12, Little Scoops provides 2 one-hour sessions for an introductory field hockey experience.  These sessions are designed to provide a fun, active and athlete-centered approach for all participants. Little Scoops is perfect for athletes who are just starting out or preparing to join a school, club or recreation team.

COST: $50 for this 2 session clinic

Monday 6/5 – 6:00pm – 7:00pm

Monday 6/12 – 6:00pm – 7:00pm
